Thoresby Houses
As our Thoresby family goes from strength to strength and grows in size, we are keen to keep the small-school feel that Thoresby has always had.
Each child and member of staff belongs to one of four houses. Each house has it's own colour and children wear their house badges with pride.
Children competed to design a shield for each house. there are staff and year group champions for each house.
Parents and children have been consulted about the names of these houses and together we decided on:
Larkin
Larkin House was named after the local poet and librarian Philip Larkin. Please find our house shield below:
Sullivan
Sullivan House was named after Clive Anthony Sullivan MBE. He was a Great Britain and Wales international winger who also played for Hull FC and Hull Kingston Rovers in his career.
